IAAF Certificates
Following the motto "Certification guarantees the quality", CONICA was the first company to support the. This explains why the first three certification numbers of the IAAF belong to CONICA:
IAAF Class 1 Certificates
Today there are many surfaces with IAAF certificates but the best quality benchmark is an IAAF Class 1 Certificate. For this certificate the IAAF confirms that a certain track and field facility has been tested on site and meets all the IAAF requirements. Due to the high costs, Class 1 Certificates are only issued for athletic tracks where first class international events take place.
To date there are 16 CONICA tracks with an IAAF Class 1 Certificate with more to come:
