CONICA Sports Surfaces
The establishment of CONICA Produktions- und Handels AG in 1977 saw the first high quality liquid polymers produced in Schaffhausen/Switzerland for synthetic sports surfaces. These would soon be highly regarded throughout the world.
In 1988, the company changed its name to CONICA Technik AG and since 2004, was part of Degussa Construction Chemicals, which in 2006 was acquired by BASF. Since mid 2006, the legal company name is BASF Construction Chemicals Europe AG, Division CONICA Technik.
For 30 years, CONICA has been developing, producing and supplying extremely reliable products for synthetic sports surfaces in all climatic conditions. The company is now a global market leader in this field.
The product portfolio includes intelligent system solutions for running tracks, multipurpose facilities, sports halls and indoor athletic facilities, playground and moulding binders, and products for artificial turf installations.
