World’s Best Meetings 2009 Hosted on CONICA Tracks – We Contribute to Best Performances! 

After some thorough investigations, we have found that Weltklasse Zurich, Golden Gala Rome and Herculis Monaco were the three best athletic meetings worldwide in 2009 (statistics all-athletics.com).

All three athletic meetings are hosted on our CONICA running tracks. Also Berlin 2009 (best multi-day competition), where Usain Bolt set the two famous world records (9.58s/19.19s), was hosted on a track fabricated with CONICA materials.
The results point out that our synthetic high quality track system - CONIPUR M - contributes to best performances whilst helping to prevent injuries.

The three-layer, solid synthetic surfacing system CONIPUR M is considered one of the fastest of its kind: The topmost layer is relatively hard, but still elastic. It provides optimal return of energy to the athletes. The two lower layers are soft and provide the necessary shock absorption, athletes’ joints are spared and injuries prevented.
Like all the other CONICA sports floors, the surface is not prefabricated and laid in sections, but poured in situ. The advantage over prefabricated products is obvious: the sports surfacing systems are poured in one piece which makes them seamless. This means, for example, that rainwater cannot seep under the surface, which offers maximum resistance against changes in temperature and weather conditions.
